Framed on Shakespeare's KING LEAR, this modern tragedy
set in the working class confines of the immigrant laborer
work place of the gardening industry. Don Rey retires
leaving his small nursery to his daughters who soon
conspire to place him in a retirement home. The long-held
values of the Mexican-American family, which cares for its
elders, give way to greed and lust destroying the dreams
and hopes of all.
